Research Summary:

Research in my laboratory focuses on activity and signaling-dependent mechanisms that mediate appropriate formation of the nervous system, differentiation of developing neurons, and regeneration of injured spinal cord and muscle Thus, we are interested in how certain drugs affect these processes by interfering with activity-dependent signaling mechanisms in the context of tissue development and repair.
